Fun With Ladders

On my walk today I happened to see this man walking on a second story roof, carrying a ladder.  A man after my own heart!  I wondered how he was going to get the ladder he was carrying down off the roof.  So I stopped walking and just watched.  I will confess that I was a bit worried.  I mean, carrying one ladder while descending another?  I didn't know that you could even do that.  But now I do that it can be done, which is a good thing to know...   :-)

Ken, stop by your local fire department and ask them for a demonstration of how they get a roof ladder to the second story of a building. These people know how to do it!!!

Ken, NO, this is not a good thing for you to know!! One ladder is perfectly fine for you. At first I thought these were pictures of you. Now it appears you are using this as a tutorial. I'm sure Kathy would say NO. Ann did say the pictures were beautiful, with the nice lighting and lines. -- Stan

Please do not try this at home.

This is definitely knowledge you should extract from your brain.... immediately! The husband of the women who cuts my hair died from complications following a ladder accident.

Hi Ron: Thanks for your comment. That's a great suggestion! But I think I will not stop by our local Volunteer Fire Department. They might take one look at me and ask why I would like to know this! :-) I merely posted this to upset all my faithful readers who think I should not be on a ladder at my young age. All I say is: What could possibly go wrong!" Thanks for taking the time to write. PS: My rib is no longer hurting and is almost completely healed!
