Catching Up VI

There is so much greenery at Caumsett State Park, that when I saw this bright red and yellow leaf just off one of the hiking paths I had to take a photograph of it.  The contrast is so striking of the brilliant color of the leaf and the gray gravel and sand.  Interesting that there is a gray tree branch and a gray leaf as well.

I just love this photograph! The simplicity and at same time the complexity of colors and material pulls me in. I love your nature photographs.
