The Home Movie Studio

My friend Stan will be teaching a college course in Pennsylvania this semester.  Some of the teaching materials will be posted online, and so Stan wanted to make some video clips which will be available so the students can watch the materials whenever they want.  So I set up this little studio in our dining room and we spent a good part of the day doing videos.  Things like a review of different kinds of film cameras that were used before digital photography took over, and the different types of digital cameras that are available.  His videos also described how lenses worked, and a description of "f/stops" and shutter speeds.  The students will learn how to use their camera when operated in the manual mode.

Stan looks as young as he did when he was at Newsday. He must love what he's doing. Good for him! He's a terrific guy.
