I was coming home from an errand this morning, and when I crossed the railroad tracks on the way into Sea Cliff and I saw this scene where the tracks curve gently into the distance and disappear into the snow. It would be a better photograph, perhaps, if I was in the middle of the woods somewhere, rather than standing on a railroad crossing. But of course where we live in the world, with our industrial surroundings, is still a worthwhile source of photographs. It's just that this one won't ever end up on my Christmas card!
