The Moon Seen Through the Tree

As I wandered around today, I wasn't having much luck finding a photograph for the blog.  Then I pulled into our driveway after it had gotten dark.  I walked down to the mailbox to check for mail, and on the way back up the driveway, I glanced up at the Moon seen through the branches of the Japanese maple tree.  And there was my shot!  Well, after I went to the car trunk and got my tripod.  It took a relatively long exposure to make this photograph.

Very nice, Ken. Very eerie look. Interesting how the shape of moon shows through the fog/clouds.- Stan
