A Brief Sense of Normal

When I woke this morning, I looked out the bedroom window and saw our neighbor's beautiful Magnolia tree.  I thought it would make a beautiful picture, but the skies were overcast, and the picture was kind of dull.  Several hours later I noticed that the sun had come out and so I grabbed my camera and ran upstairs and took this photograph, which is much prettier because the sun was out.  Oh wait!  What is that in the foreground?  It's Kathy, working in the side garden cleaning it up, for spring planting.  She said that for a brief period today she felt that things were almost normal again.

hint ;-) do hand hygiene, and always remove mask prior to eating donuts and coffee, then perform hand hygiene after eating, and then don mask again. inhale, exhale. all is good now well... just in case you needed to hear this PSA one more time. lol. ld

Beautiful! We need fresh air and digging in the dirt/gardening is the best therapy.

The Magnolia tree is beautiful. Kathy is so lucky to have a garden - whether it's for flowers or vegetables. Good for the soul. Fresh air and sunshine is therapy for all of us during this stressful time. betsey

What a beautiful magnolia tree. How nice that Kathy could work in the garden in the sun. I enjoy cleaning the gardens in the spring. Starting new. Need that in these difficult times.
