In these trying times, I have never seen so many people and families enjoying the beach and sandbars and tidepools. I have a whole bunch of photographs of people walking and playing, but I like this the best, a father and two of his children. Gives me a sense of joy to see people and families making good use of the time that so many people have on their hands.

A beach is indeed a Joy! I miss my beach time as South Carolina has closed all beaches. In my hometown, parks and playgrounds are now closed, boat ramps closed, all non-essential businesses are closed. I walked by two local news crews this morning video taping barricades to park entrances near us. Police in cars and on motorcycles are patrolling these public places. They say this will be the norm for at least the next two weeks!
