My Solitary Walk

It was an interesting walk for me today.  It was drizzling most of the day, so I wore a rain jacket and hat and set out on my usual route along the harbor.  To my surprise, there was no one else on the sidewalk.  It was a pleasant change for me, to be able to walk along without having to dodge other walkers.  I didn't mind being the only one out there - it was pleasant being the solitary walker.

This is such a different photo and really emphasizes the solitary part of your walk - the endless stretch with no-one in view. betsey

It just seemed appropriate for the weather and the day. I am glad it seems different. Thanks!

while in this battle against the "virus foe" your photo looks to be a greater understanding by New Yorkers about the war at hand. It is just a temporary battle strategy, but may be needed again the future; a mindful exercise. many battles are invisible and the war room requires unique strategies among which prayer is one of the best tools in the arsenal -ld
