The Harbor in Snow

This is the second photograph I am posting involving walking around in a snowstorm.  There may be more.  Yesterday's photograph of a scene on the road was more a straight recording - a documentary photograph.  Today's photograph is of more artistic bent.  This is more than just a record.  There is something about the curves and tonal changes, and differing textures that lifts this image above just being an ordinary record.  It feels as if is has emotional content which lifts this image to another level.

This is so subtle. I like the softness of the colors and the peaceful feeling. bsk
