Kathy was amazed that her Rose bush was looking so good this year. Not sure why that is, perhaps it has to do with the weather being just right. So I watched it for several days and photographed it in different kinds os light, both in bright sunshine and in shade and on overcast days. This shot was done after the sun was low in the western sky so the light was soft. It does look beautiful with so many blossoms on it.

The rose bush is so full and beautiful. I am amazed at how many blooms on it. I like all the different shapes of green (ivy, rose petals, grass, other plant leaves) in the photo too. Trace

I showed this to Kathy this morning and she said that I didn't know why the Rose bush looked so good. It was because this year she fertilized it, and used insecticide and fungicide and pruned it. So it looks great because of hard work, not magic!
