The Gift That Keeps Giving...

I have taken so many photographs of Scudder's Pond, but because of the light and the time of year and the wind and the temperatures, no two photographs are ever alike, fortunately.  I did this photo on my walk the other day, and what struck me was the delicacy of this scene and the muted colors.  It was overcast so the light was soft.  If the setting sun had illuminated this, the colors would be a saturated yellow color from the sun and the contrast would be greater.  So I like this different version, and having no wind to speak of meant the water was almost a perfect mirror.
