The Rose Garden

For some reason, when I parked my car down by the planetarium tonight, I decided to look over the wall into the rose garden.  I hadn't thought about it, I was just curious.  When I saw the fountain brightly lit by some lights on the outside of the planetarium I thought about how different the garden is from when the roses are in bloom.  I guess because of that, this photograph is more striking than I would have thought.

It seems strange to see this pure white fountain lit so bright when all the rest of the garden is in winter hibernation and everything else in the photo is dark. It certainly catches your eye.

I like all the different shapes in the garden. It is another pretty winter scene with the snow and the lighting in the garden and in the distance. The stars in the sky are a nice touch to the scene as well. Trace
